We all like to feel special, and customer are no different. So when you talk about tools and products, you want to talk about the ones that are the best tools for the job required. Sometimes that means talking about a digital or tangible product or strategy that hasn’t lived up to your expectations.
Maybe the quality was poor or the promised end result never materialized. You can post about that item in a professional way, without ranting about it or putting down the creator. You can share what you did, what you didn't do and what happened.
I remember the first time I used Thrive Architect. I'd persuaded Kevin that we should invest in this WordPress plugin for our business – we could build better landing pages and sales pages. This would lead to an increase in sales and justify the expenditure. He agreed.
I purchased the plugin, downloaded it… Uploaded it… And then I cried. It wasn't as easy as I'd thought. I was heartbroken. I wanted better pages, but I couldn't get it to work for me. It's a bit like a European company refusing to comply with Can-Spam… You like the tool but you can't use it because it's not meeting your local business needs. Lead Pages wasn't ticking any of my boxes and I desperately needed a pagebuilder that worked…
Here I am talking about a product to you that I recommend daily, yet when it first come out I couldn't use.
So what changed?
I waited a week and tried again. This time I could get my landing page exactly how I wanted it. I didn't have to go to Lead Pages and spend money I didn't have on a tool that I didn't think would suit me.
Sometimes when we get a product or book a service we're not quite ready for it…
When I purchased Thrive Architect it was late at night, I was tired and I shouldn't have been working. But I was, and that tainted how I used the product. At the time, it was all Thrive Architect's fault. But a week later, I'd had enough sleep and I knew it was me and not them…

People always need an alternative, even if many people are succeeding with something, so you can be the guidance they need to feel like they’re back on track. I still use Thrive Architect to this day, I also use other page building tools as well.
